Hey Tacoistas...08 4x4 ext.cab, v6. Just drove to do some shopping and the day dictated that I open the fresh air vent. The resulting warm air was a bit disconcerting. I have 82k on her and this has never happened to me.
Any idea what is up with this?
Thanks beforehand, we will be heading South to Baja right after the Xmas holiday so would like to see if you guys/gals have a clue..[IMG]

The exterior air temp should come thru the vent. When it is hotter then that,
    "disconcerting" Also never happened before.

The dash heats up in the sun from the greenhouse effect, heating up the ducting etc. Thus heating up the fresh air as it flows through.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
If your heat nob is turned over past cold it will blow warm air, turn the nob over to cold and it should feel more natural.
