Mexican made Tacoma

Just heard from a Baja blog that Toyota will be producing a special Tacoma in Mexico. Would love a sneak peak at it! Anyone heard of this?

 

Uh... that's where they are built.

 

They are made in both Mexico and Texas.

 

This is supposed to be a "SPECIAL" Tacoma. What that means I have no clue.

Now that's funny!

 

The outside will be green-white-red and come in eagle trim. The luxurious seats are stuffed with eagle down and the dashboard inlaid with the beaks of a thousand eagles.

 

I'd buy it

 

Vsrry funny!!! My sticker says hardshell. I bet the softshells use jalapeño's!!

 

Don't forget about the Virgin Mary air brushed on the tailgate.

 

That's it, plus, the upholstery is done in Tiajuana Tuck & Roll.

 

They are unveiling the new Tacoma at the NAIAS ( Detroit auto show ) in January so maybe what you heard is just about the production of the new trucks.

Hmmm...I heard it was going to have a fully boxed chasis with 12" of travel in the front ( a single leaf in the rear though ) and a 400 hp diesel motor...

 

be sure to check the bed before driving off. there might be a family lying down in there hitching for a ride across the border.
