i just realised to day how damn socially akward i am, i was invited to a lil party type deal and left because i hate being around people...i went with a hawt chick and freakin left because i hate people...they just piss me off, especially if there is a crowd...i even got into an arguement because my mom said i needed a better hobby than working on my trucks, such as hanging out with friends...i asked her to name 6 friends...she couldnt even think of one....

just pisses me off how i wanna have fun and be with people my age but dont just because i hate being around them

    damn i hate teenagers

    end angry rant

Crowds and parties aren't for everyone. I did a bunch of personality study in college- Meyers Briggs Type Indicator was the basis- and there are people who are just made to do their thing and not need lots of others for interaction.

Me- I'm a Extrovert...I LOVE people....but I HATE going to bars...Large groups of people crammed together to drink just ain't my thing...sooo...You'll find your spot!!

I've never gotten along with people my own age, so no worries! Parties, large crowds aren't my thing. Are your parents older or younger? Siblings? My parents are both in their 60's, my sister is 10 years older than me, so I grew up with adults. Shit, I'm 22 dating a 26 yr old because I can't stand girls my age.

    Don't fret!

Dont worry about it man. I was never akward at that age but now that all my close friends moved away I hang out with people that piss me off. I feel for you. good choice just leaving though. Iv gotten in a few fights because i stayed around a crowd of people that i didnt like for too long.

    stock, for now
i damn near agree to everything. A friend I went to school with for years got married back in april and i knew lots of people at the wedding, but I still didnt want to be there. My gf had a friend of hers get married in earlier this month, and I knew a few people but I still didnt wanna be there. Ive been the same way, if I'm in a big crowd I hate it, but 10 or so of my friends together I'm fine. Even for example, at my firehouse we have rougly 30 members who go there on friday nights and hang out and drill and whatnot, but I'm usually pretty quiet untill theres a few of us together, then I open up.

I'm only 23 and I'd much rather throw a get together or go to a hole in the wall bar, I hate clubs and that environment. So I kinda feel you on that, but it's still fun to go out and socialize.

I was 20 and was with a 30 year old for a year and a half, now I'm with a 29 year old. The older the better in my opinion, more experienced, more confident, less drama, most have the heads screwed on straight, etc. etc. It's the only thing I'll go for now.

im pretty much the same way. perfectly happy tinkering with the car. not hanging out with friends.. my ex when we were dating kept telling me i need to hang out with friends... got pissed at her... i would rather not deal with drama. pisses me off. i will hang with them if im bored but otherwise, i usually find something to do and enjoy the peace.

i know exactly how you feel man!

i tend to murmur a lot when talking to people. get bad anxiety talking to crowds. and not a good conversationalist. i also tend to crack jokes at people i just met. my girl hates it.
