    Thanks everyone, at my, ahem, advanced age (not quite 60!), I took a nap after work and will stay in and watch TV tonight. 5:00 AM comes fast. I've got to take my truck in for some work tomorrow when I get out of work, it's been getting water on the floor whenever it rains lately. We are getting heavy rain overnight tonight and all day tomorrow:eek: I think that might be the first truck related post I've made in quite a while.:eek:

    Let me know what they find, I have the same problem. At first I thought it was coming through the fenderwells somewhere when I drive in water since I cut my pinchweld and pounded it back; but it will get wet just sitting out in the rain without me driving it... It has kind of started to mold, though I've done my best to control it so I think I will be buying the vinyl flooring option they had for 2nd gens for a bit and swapping my carpet out for it.

    No offense ... But a $20k+ investment might be worth a 40 mile drive ... I'm just sayin' ;)

    The third guy in our carpool's wife commutes from Wasilla to Anchorage Mon-Fri in a Subie; she put 230K miles on the last one and just bought another. Both are Outbacks IIRC. Subies are very popular here.

    Get a Subie. Theyre bullet proof like Toys. At least my Subie was. Only repairs i ever had was thermostat and water pump/ timing belt. Had it for 7 years, 70k miles and drove it from MT to AK without a hiccup.
