Edit: I think it replaced the 850gs Dakar? Had the huge camel hump gas tank.

 

It's a newer version of the old F650 GS Dakar that ran from '03 to '7 then in '12 the Sertao was released. Essentially the same motor though.

 

I provide all of the daily care (well, nightly). Its not as bad as it sounds. There are a lot of safety precautions taken, but its not as bad as the movies make it out to be lol

I still rather a KTM 1190 Adventure R over the BMW's but I'm biased I raced KTM's for a few years and I love the fit and finish. I have a 07 R1 and actually getting bored with it.

Being nocturnal sucks. With my career I have a very crazy sleep schedule. Being on call 24/7 has it's points and minus.

 

I think most people in this thread are on call or work swing. I've worked the same hrs for most of 15 yrs now.

 

I work in transportation so it's very crazy.

 

I'm straight shift 00:00 - 09:00 M-F I'd much rather do 3x12's or 4x10's.

I actually put in my transfer request to day shift. It'll probably take 3-4 months for a spot to open up but I just can't get good sleep on nights.

 

Well,.. We dont shock people lol. Its mainly behavioral disorders. depression, bi-polar, suicidal ideations, aggression. We put together treatment plans, and determine if a patient needs long term care or can be safely discharged home. We deal with court order patients and self admitted patiens. We deal with the rainbow lol

 

I work 1800 to 0600 every Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed.

I'm a KTM guy myself after starting off a couple V-Strom's and a Moto Guzzi. Then I bought a 950, downsized to a 690 and in September I traded the 690 for a '07 525 a 950 that needs an overhaul and paint.

 

Sitting on a '09 ZX10-R myself. Even regeared back to stock, it's a frikkin fast bike lol. Planning on getting a Yamaha Raider someday for cruising on

 

I've even been thinking about getting a KTM 350 or 450 EXC licensing it have supermoto wheels to ride on street and then put dirt wheels to hit the trails.

 

4 10s ... That is the dream. Don't think we'll ever see it here.

Made it to 1:30AM before coming wide awake. Oh well, back on shift Tuesday night anyway.

Can't talk Bikes, I'm dangerous enough on an ATV ... Moose men aren't naturally agile.
