    The statement that Luck is asked to do more is cliche.

    You know what they're both asked to do equally? Guide their team to division championships, playoff wins and Super Bowl wins. The manner in which that is accomplished is irrelevant.

    How do I know that?

    Dan Marino (8-10 in playoffs) was asked to do more than Joe Montana (16-7 in playoffs). Marino had better tools, a better arm and threw more touchdowns and for more yards.

    Was Dan Marino the better QB? After all, he was asked to "do more."

    hmm I don't know, I think it is relevant, but I think it's very difficult to compare because Wilson has a better surrounding team. A better run game and a better defense will make it a lot easier on a QB. Granted Luck has better WRs, but you can make an argument, that for the sake of winning games (and not individual stats), that a better running game and defense will compliment a QB more so than better WRs (see your comment about the Falcons). And in this case, Seattle's running game and defense are at the top of the league, so it helps Wilson and the Seahawks win more games.

    When I got rear-ended, I was upright, walking around, talking and BSing. Ended up with a neck problem that took three months to straighten out.

    Right after an accident is not a good time to guage how you feel.

    Agreed it shouldn't be dismissed. I guess what I'm saying is look at how Montana won those games for SF. Now, put Marino on that team... a lot of people immediately think Marino would have won the SB's with SF's team. I don't think we can be sure of that and not because of Defense or a Running game. Montana had a knack for making a big play when it was needed. Wilson has that same ability. Don't freak out, I'm not saying Wilson is Montana .. just comparing skill sets.

    Just because Luck is a better passer on a worse team does not mean he would make the same decisions and make the same plays that would lead to SB wins.

    However. If you put Wilson on the Colts, I think he makes that team better. Everything he does on a small miniscule scale is better. Better fakes, better decisions, lifts his team and inspires them. As of right now I see Luck being a Philip Rivers, Dan Marino type. Impressive skill set, no SB wins.
