Blocking the freeway and amtrak? Just because you don't have a job doesn't give you the right to stop me from going/leaving mine. Push through, watch em get violent, profit on their lack of composure. Cars fully covered anyway.

That sucks... Almost makes you want to let your foot off the brake and roll forward... Goodluck stopping my truck... and if you cant get out of the way at 2 miles an hour on a freeway.... in the dark... thats your fault.

Thankfully, the medics were able to get to the woman and take her to the hospital.

Frank Somerville's page talks about the actions of the past few days (for those outside the area, he's a news anchor). He talks about a guy who is trying to calm the crowd being sucker punched by a guy with a hammer. From the comments, you can tell people are pretty passionate either way-l really hope this doesn't explode. That would be unfortunate.

Then there's the protestor wearing an anarchy mask up on her head complaining about being "run over" when a car they surrounded suddenly accelerated to escape the blockade-wtf? What did she think was going to happen? She was genuinely butt-hurt because the driver needed to hear what they were saying:eek:

Gotta say I don't think protestors are endearing themselves to others.

Yea I saw the video of the guy getting hit with the hammer in front of that Radio Shack. Just sad. I have no issues with people protesting, but the people just out there to cause trouble is just dumb.

One of my buddies' parents have a small shop near the Berkeley Bowl, and when their windows got broken into over the weekend, so did theirs. I also have family that are OPD that were injured during the Oscar Grant riots. Really shitty that has to happen.

Protesting (to me) isn't inconveniencing others so you can get your message across. And it isn't lighting fires in trash cans or breaking windows or looting. I think one city said that around 10 cop cars were damaged in one way or another too. It's just incredible to me that anyone who is complaining about violence against them can use violence against others and some how justify it because they were wronged. All of this costs the people and then they wonder why cities don't have the money to do things.

Seems more like an excuse to create mayhem and it is a really shitty thing to be happening.

Yeah I saw Somervilles post and I liked it a lot, it just kills me the rioting and such. The worst thing I heard from one of the protestor/rioter/looters in ferguson was something to the effect of "These shops have insurance, they can repair and rebuild. Michael Browns life can't be replaced". That's one of the worst justifications for people's actions I've ever heard.

I disagree with this guy's methods of questioning as he is just trying to put people down and expose the worst in everyone but I did enjoy this one...http://youtu.be/WNFTfR6WycA

Anyone with a 2012+ white TRD sport want to trade their sport grill and hood (that keeps shinning the sun in your eyes) for my custom grill and hood?

    Just a thought...
