    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    Some of my other rigs are manuals and it still feels the same to me driving them or my auto. I don't hate manuals, I love them in fact, I just don't see how one is superior to the other, they both have their pros and cons. I just like an auto better for a daily driver, it's more convenient for me. Never had much fun driving a truck with a manual either, sporty cars with manuals are where they excel and are really fun, especially on curvy roads. Nothing like slamming gears through the corners and making that transmission work. :)

    There are so many auto vs manual meme's!

    I'd say it's 90-10% love my manual-kinda miss an auto. Would have made my last trip to Moab much different if i'd had an auto...makes that kind of trail so much easier(unless you have a crawlbox).

    Also I feel the same. The 4runner is an auto, and while its great for that and getting around town its not the same for me. although I really don't know how much I would havbe liked a manual in it. 99.9% of the time I would rather a manual though.

    Word on the 432 matched downshift. Going fast on dirt roads with an auto would be hard actually since you cant rely or get used to modulating with the gas pedal since autos just coast when you let off.

    I do..but I have a nice camera and like taking good photos to share with people now. I'd like to think it's one of the reasons people come here.

    I have. Just waiting for it to be delivered. No major details but it's MCM Kit.

    Haha I still do the ghost clutch pedal shift every now and then. Nothing beats ripping through gears. Frank is super fun again to do that on with the regear.

    For crawling Id get having an auto again. But yea for go fast...would not enjoy. When I drove mikes truck it was weird. The gear ratios where odd to me too and it would never shift when I wanted.

    But I still like my auto here in St. Louis. A manual would sure make my commute a hell of a lot more fun though.

    Thanks ;) I saw that quote while stalking your build and had to have it lol. Crawling and daily driving I love the manual. Love the control and engine brake when I let off the gas. Still gotta fix my throw out bearing though :(

    Well glad you liked it :p

    And nah doubt he will do that. He likes how it is really. He is just having issues with the URD 7th injector kit. So he is thinking either do the IPT valve mod for faster tranny shifts and shaving the nose cone to fit the smallest pulley wheel for more boost.

    Or scraping the TRD blower and getting the URD blower and maybe doing the stroker Kit...

    I have had both, in 1st gens with the v6. This whole discussion is total bullshit. One is not superior over the other in all situations. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.

    None of you can say you have fully explored all those abilities in both because you dont have both. You argument only adds up to "this is what I have and it is better."

    You do not daily drive Frank and you do not wheel with igor. So don't start with the "I have both" crap. :p
