the streets around here are dumb...we have numbered streets but the same number is used with street, place, terrace, ave, etc. at the end of it. I've gotten many pieces of mail with the wrong ending on it, some of it bank statements...if it looks important (i.e. not junk mail/circulars) i actually take it to the correct house.

I've been having more and more problems with them of late...

I've been giving UPS MUCH more business.

That guy is a good man!

No Sleep Records' Fall Sampler. Number 144 of 150. Only available on Black Friday, and it sold out in a matter of hours...

Read above ^^ It wasn't a classic, but it has a new song from a band I love, and they recorded the song just for this album, and there's no digital copy of it.... :frusty:

I'd be more likely to get a fucking rim job from Mother Theresa than to get those fucking pieces of shit to realize they made a mistake and actually pay for it.

They ruined a set of gauges I was working on for a customer. It cost $700 to replace the gauge cluster, cause you can only get it from toyota... Took him fighting with USPS for 3 months to get reimbursed. The cluster was SMASHED

The Felix Culpa. By far one of my favorite bands. Sever Your Roots/Bury The Axe is an incredible piece of music. Take a listen. It's great. They have new music in the works, including the song they did for the sampler that I'll be listening to shortly when I get the record player fired up.

Also check out Manchester Orchestra. Their albums Simple Math, Cope, I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child, and Everything to Nothing kick ass! Lots of talent in this band. I saw them on Sunday night, in a small church in New Haven, Connecticut. INCREDIBLE show. They recently released a completely reworked version of Cope, called Hope. Same song list, but all acoustic, strings, and vocals.

However I prefer their electric stuff way more.

By far one of my favorites off Simple Math

Manchester Orchestra is awesome. COPE is a great album, and so is Mean Everything to Nothing, but I think Simple Math is their best all around album.

One of my friends out in San Diego turned me on to them a few years back and after I introduced him to Bon Iver.

They did some songs there, don't even know their names, and as acoustic, they caused so many feels that like everyone in the audience was fighting back tears. So dark and sad.

Then someone's phone went off in the middle of one of the sad songs. And the singer couldn't stop laughing.
