So cool, I love old houses. Our first house was built in the late 1790's I was always finding cool shit around that place. Under floorboards in the attic, far reaches of the basement even digging in the yard.
Knob and tube, scary:eek: a good friend who's a contractor looked at an old 1600s house with K/T for me when we were looking at houses again and there was a good amount but in perfect condition like it was installed recently. He said not to bother updating it. still freaked me out a bit. Unfortunately we didn't get that house but man, it was sweet!
    Good luck with the house:D

Almost forgot about this, went to lowes this afternoon...again! Walking down the aisle with my son when we spotted this KitchenAide dishwasher. It was sitting funny then noticed the tag.
    e39c34034a6ae5480c6e3e8a0b3184cc_9e2c9d38692cdb828f595fda6131579fea5723e5.jpg
Got my attention now, but why such a markdown. Lowes guy walks by and starts asking if I'm interested, he said was a returned custom order that looked like that when it showed up at the house to be installed.

So the guy says, hey take it home see what you can do with it, if you can't make it work bring it back within 30 days and you can get your money back.
I asked if he'd take 100 bucks ...settled on $130:D
    The issue:

The aluminum stand the tub sits on is folded in on both sides. motor, piping, tub and electrical all seem to be intact with no visable issues. Looks like some creative bending to get everything back in place and we might be good to go. We'll see over Xmas break if it works when I hook it up. Pretty pumped for this find.:D

I have a spare set of FXR projectors but they're the 2.0 version and I found out that version is the one they've seen problems with like you've described. Maybe 3.0 is next!!!

In any event it looks like the control panel itself (button interface) is about $110 online, and the control panel for the whole shebang is $140 online, give or take.
