I'm not sure of the legality issues since we're not actually taking any sand or dirt from the area but it might be not worth the trouble or not worth us popping up on anyone's radar out there. I guess we'll stick to shovels and pick axes. I nominate myself for project manager. If anyone needs me I will be with my feet up under an umbrella drinking a nice cold beer.

I'm sure you would get a ticket for altering the landscape or something, but would have a target on your back the rest of the weekend for sure.

Lets just go to sand finger, find a good sized razor back and drag my flatbed over it, that will make a nice table.

Depending on how bad y'all want to jump a truck, this is possible.
My dad is the operator & when I asked, he laughed at the idea but said if we can get a skid steer there, he'll run it all weekend for beer.
Side note, he was the operator for the winter X games a while back and made the jumps and half pipe.
I've got an account with SunBelt rentals- nearest location is pretty close in coachella

I don't know the difference, have not done the run yet :)

Prolly a bad idea for this reason. I think the Rangers would bring the pain ha! Would prolly get us and the SoCalTacomas on a shit list out there. But.... I also have some years under my belt with skid steers, pretty good with them too... They are fun!

The pole line run has some FUN whoops, the run along the rail road tracks is a maintained dirt road with some sandy spots

I have some serious shock tuning before then. Have to figure out from spring rate and valving for the front now that I'm on beams. A nice run like that sounds rad. Fingers crossed it rains 2 days before lol.

I'd start with around 15 comp/12 rebound minimum. Personally I'd put a 20 on compression

Hey does anyone have a set GPS to meet and start the giant circle this time? And any radio freq for those of us coming in late / won't know anyone there in the first place?
We settled on a couple radio freq for ham and cb and settled on a GPS dot to navigate to- it saved my ass coming in at midnight last year
