Showoff: BHLM & Projector Retrofit Completed Headlights

Quick question I had with my upcoming project...Has anyone installed halos while doing the bhlm. I was given a led headlight kit from Brite Ass Led's and I plan on doing the bhlm when I instal the Led kit. I figured I'd try to install a halo kit as well since ill have the headlights already opened up for the bhlm. i Just haven't seen anyone with a halo set up without an complete HID projector retrofit

 

My go to sites as well for LEDs. Highley recommend either.

Yeah I have been looking all over for a write up but haven't had any luck finding one. I'm not familiar with lighting or wirring but I really want to attempt the bhlm and put halos around the led headlights

 

Only way it would work is if its a large halo to go around the edge of the reflector bowl, other then that a small one would block the light and you wouldn't have anywhere to mount it to

Yeah i was thinking That same thing and i really liked the led concepts kit. It's large ring that would basically go around the inner reflective bowl

 

I bought their kit on cyber monday sale. Hasn't arrived yet, but it got shipped. I'll be doing a retrofit most likely though

 

I Actually told myself to do that but totally forgot on the day of the sale. So your going to be using the halos around a hid projector type set up? I wish it was possible to use led lights inside a projector setup and completely paint the housing.

 

Explain what you mean. Are you referring to using an led bulb in a projector?

 

Yes the led bulb inside projector. Correct me if I'm wrong But led bulbs still utilize the reflective bowl therefor it cannot be painted right?

Hey MTopp did you ever get around to installing that LED Concept Halo kit?

 

Just finished up my retrofit after changing a few things. The shroud is flat black and everything else is satin black.

 

Finished my 2nd retrofit this past weekend. TRS mini h1, g37 shroud, xb 35 5500k bulbs, denso ballasts

 

Has anyone ever bought a set of retrofits from black flames customs? Im wondering about there quality.

Does anyone know of a good local Retro-fit installer in the Socal area? I'd like to deal with someone local as I read of some bad complaints from a TRS LS460 Retrofit sale. I'd like to deal with someone face to face if I can.
I'm currently saving some cash for this next mod. I drive a lot at night and would like to enjoy the drive if I can.
