Yep, I'm 1000% in agreement. Have you found a decent Ford dealership? How's Imperial in Milford? So far, I've crossed off Framingham Ford and Franklin Ford. I hated Muzi Ford's sales team but haven't tested their service yet. I would like to avoid Muzi just because of their bullshit sales tactics but if their service dept. is good, I might give them a shot. I'm running out of dealers in a hurry...

I never had Milford Ford service the car (no maintance done exc for me) but I do like them because they do work with me as far as pricing for parts. Other places like Rodman sucks. The dealership in Norwood Jack Madden is about the best one around from what I have heard.

I'll give them a shot, thanks for the info. I do all my own maintenance but there are some things you just need the stealership for.

    Wouldn't it be greyface?

Don't know about that, maybe you're just clumsy :D
I've always used wood ash instead of sand and never had any problems with lack of traction. The only problem we've ever had because of it is tracking soot into the house. :notsure:

Ashes work best for ice when they are still red... :p
Actually, I've seen ashes used and they do work. Wifey won't let me use them because they tend to get tracked into the house...

So where do you guys go to shoot your guns ? I'm wondering if NH has public ranges. I haven't searched the website yet. I was a member of a gun club in RI for years but as is the usual case with kids had to take a couple years off. Would like to get back into going on a regular basis of once a month again verses once before hunting season. Which brings me to the next question, any you guys been out this year ? any good trophy pictures ?

I'm a member of a range close to my house. I haven't been out hunting yet and I'm wondering if I will this year... MA has public ranges but you need to be licensed or be with someone who is. There used to be a couple places that would let you in without a license but I'm not sure that's that case any longer as there have been accidents at both.

Thx Mike. What type license are you referring to ? and I hear you about the accidents, Wasn't there one recently with a hunter and jogger with a dog or something ? Seems every year some moron doesn't identify his target

FID card or license to carry. The accidents I was referring to at the public ranges were more people going in, renting a gun and shooting themselves to commit suicide. That forced policy changes so those places wouldn't let you rent a gun with just a license. The hunting ones are a different animal, just stupidity.

They're not hard to find, there are a few around. I wouldn't recommend it though. I used to go to public ranges but will never go back. There are a lot of people there who are not comfortable handling their firearms and I didn't feel the range officer handled the situations well either. Wasn't worth it to save a few bucks on a club membership. Plus, the public ranges are like $25/hr so it doesn't take much to break even with a private range. Mine is $120/yr and it's a much better environment than the public range. People are very helpful and I've had a lot of great conversations with other members about various firearms.

There you have it Alex. Hopefully you value your well being higher than $108/yr. Hell, based on past posts, you'd blow that on a whim in a given weekend!

I usually just go to the old sandpits, but I can shoot behind my house if I want to also (I usually don't, to avoid pissing off the neighbors and scaring the wildlife that I hunt in the fall/winter/spring)
    Either way it's free, so...

Braintree Rifle and Pistol club for $100 a year and went spotting yesterday and found a nice 200 pound or so doe. Going to try and catch it this weekend.

This is the first vehicle I didn't buy them for and I don't think I'm going to. I don't have my windows open as often as I used to (first few vehicles didn't have A/C).

I almost always have my windows open.

I've put them off for 4 years. I figure it's about time. I've always wanted them

Anyone got an arc welder they are getting rid of? I would love a lincoln electric tombstone. Really don't have much $ on hand so I would prefer to trade. I know its a long shot but worth throwing it out there.
