I think Luck has better coaching (his whole damn life, really, his dad prepped him to play QB in the NFL) experience and is brawnier.

I think Wilson has a similar intellect and suave presense about him on the field. Neither get flustered easily or make really bad decisions.

I'm partial to Wilson a bit cause he went to WIS, but overall I'd take Luck just ahead of Wilson myself.

Yeah I wish those were the exact words he used. The Saints have injuries and have lost some close games this year. But the bottom line is they have really sucked in games they should have kicked ass in.

All is not well. I think the Saints needed a season like this, and hopefully it will help them get to the bottom of the issues they're having.

I will say one thing - I am sick and damn tired of the short left / short right passes right to or right past the LOS when it's 2nd or 3rd and long. That shit works about %15 of the time if that - when will they ever learn?

    THROW PAST THE CHAINS!

I don't understand why everyone wants Harbaugh. He came to a team with a talented roster and got them to perform up to expectations. Only thing that's changed is now his talented roster is not performing.

When battling head to head in the pros: Luck 1 - Wilson 0

I'm not looking forward to the pass rush there next week :p

The offense doesn't really scare me, even as horribad as the Packers D is. But your pass rush will give us fits all day. They are well coached and tenacious.

Aaron gonna spent a bunch of time scrambling around, and that worries me :)

    Plus...DAMMITORTON!

What's the local take on Brees? There was a different article on SI.COM saying they are looking to draft a QB this year high in the draft.

Also reports that Payton could be fired... I find that hard to believe though.

yeah that's really the only thing they have going for them. They stopped Peyton from throwing at TD pass for 51 straight games last week so hopefully they can do that again with Aaron.

The bills offense is still the same offense ever since jim kelly left :(

14 years and counting with no playoff births haha

hopefully they can pull out a win since they have to win out to make the playoffs :( Packers, raiders, patriots. Gonna be a rough month for the Bills crew :(

To the above posters when referring to either the Saints head coach or the Broncos starting QB:

    Peyton Manning=Broncos QB

    Sean Payton=Saints head coach

Please refer to this post before typing the names of either person to prevent confusion.

So, about 10 minutes ago, got got an email blast from Darth Goodell, regarding the new Personal Conduct Policy the owners and NFL agreed to at the owners' meetings today.

    http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/photo/2014/12/10/0ap3000000441637.pdf

That they simply mandate this by order without the NFLPA is going to be fun to watch play out. I'll bet Eric Winston is losing his shit right now (rightfully so)

Well I can't say what the local take on Brees is. I actually live in Washington State :D. But lived in New Orleans for many many years.

My thoughts are - the Saints will NOT fire Payton anytime soon, as in years. And yes I do believe whether it's rumor or not, that it would be smart to draft a rookie QB in the first round next year and I think they'll pick one in the first few rounds at least.

Look what happened in Indy when Peyton [this is really going to confuse the above poster] went out for the season - The whole team took a dive, the owner went ape-shit and fired everyone.

The problem with the Saints - They're defense sucks, can't even fundamentally tackle people, and they're D backs are give up too easily. Their running game is off partially due to a somewhat sucky O-Line. They have a Heisman winner at running back for crying out loud and I think Brees has too much pressure on him to carry the team and is making bad decisions trying to make something happen. They have an excellent receiving core, but it just ain't happening.

I will say the Hawks have definitely come out of their shell and are looking damn good now. They seem to be clicking on all cylinders and I don't see that changing against SF this weekend.

Walter Payton was a great running back. Greatest? No. But he isn't current and there isn't a reason for him to be in a trash talkers thread.
