Got mine yesterday, I have to install my fusebox from skygear before I can get started on the install but I'm thinking bed first, then hood, then rocker. I can't wait!

Without it being installed the quality of the kit looks superb. Very clean. I'll try to post some images when I get done. Thanks Dane!

Just got the rocker lights installed. I would recommend them to anyone. I personally got them for my daughter since I have black steps and was worried that in the rain and dark she would eat it getting out eventually. Now, it will be no problem. I used the method described on page 108 to hook them up. They come on with the dome light of the truck is unlocked after being locked just like the dome and They are always on if the door is ajar wether the dome light is set to DOOR or ON or OFF incase that is important to you so if the doors are open, the lights are on. The garage is pitch black with the lights off.

The links below are for videos showing the light output which is great. I put a roll of paper towels a foot away on the ground for the visual

I swear I typed it out right . auto correct on this computer is killing me lately.

You prefer it over the braided? Or have not had hands on with any? Just curious.

I use the braided loom and then the Marine heat shrink tubing. For the solder joints, it really helps reinforce them with the heat shrink tubing.

I haven't had hands on with the braided, buti like the split loom cuz it goes underneath the truck. I also use shrink rubbing on the end I solder, pretty solid once heated up

Mine got in Monday, and I was installing them yesterday. Hood install is entirely too easy, but I ended up with a bad switch. The bed install was a bit more involved since the wiring had to be run to the bed (surprise, surprise). I will need to run to radio shack or someplace for a switch, as Dane is off vacaying, and its not worth shipping and waiting on another switch. Although I am assuming that these are just regular spst switches and nothing special.

Btw, for the bed lights I found that a 4ft wall fish stick worked great to pull the wiring through the initial box section of frame, then to push the wiring back to behind the axle, where it could get routed up to the storage box. I then added a few sections of wire loom around the frame wire routes.

The spade just pushed up into the switch when I tried to connect it. Sh-tuff happens. So, the switch is just a simple spst switch right? Nothing special about it?
