Isn't just a river. That line stretches all the way up the right side of CA.

I think my father-in-law has one for his gun collection. I'll check with the wife and get back to you. Can't remember if it's a trust or it's written in his will.

This is the 'in' thing these days so I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me (surprise!) but if your CLEO will sign off on NFA there's very little reason to go through the efforts. Some will argue that if you're not home and a family member has 'access' to your NFA item it's against the law. Maybe by letter of the law but in spirit of the law nobody is every going to be charged for this... especially a family member at home. I just don't see this ever being an issue and IMO is a poor reason to file a Trust. The other reason people talk about is if something happens to you. If something does happen to you any legal heir to your belongings can file for a transfer for FREE on a Form 5. A trust cost money, takes time and creates a new set of rules you have to follow and adhere to as far as adding people to it and what that entails legally. Also, with the looming change in how Trusts are handled at the Federal level I think a lot of people who paid all kinds of money for their Trust are going to be upset in a year or two when they go to add another NFA item to it at how things have changed.

If your CLEO will not sign off one NFA items then go for it. It's a great loophole for that purpose and if you can't otherwise get NFA items it's nice that it exists. I think too many people are choosing to 'abuse' this loophole and as such Federal laws will catch up with it and I have a feeling this loophole is going to be ruined for a LOT of people who actually need it. To me, it just feels like yet another way lawyers have convinced lots of people they need their services... at a nominal fee of course.

Just my opinion. As most things firearm related take it with a gran of salt, do your own research and ultimately arrive at whatever decision is the best for you.

That's what I hear. It sounds like the ingredients are just Tannerite. It will be interesting to see where this goes. We might all be felons for what is under our kitchen sink...

He told me the media is making a bigger deal out of this than it is. He then texted me a pic of his jail cell with an M4 w/M203 on the wall and a persian cat in his lap on the top bunk. Pretty sure he's not the bitch from what I could tell. :D
