    I'm thinking I might try it. Is it worth it on 2.5" of iift? Sounds like a nice thing if it limits nose dive during braking

    The general rule is to raise the arm the same amount you lift the rear. This puts the braking balance back to where it was.

    If you are like Ben, maybe you like the brake balance a little forward. With a bracket with multiple settings, like the BAMF unit, you can fine tune it to your liking.

    BAMF makes 2 sizes. If you really are a full 2.5" higher than stock, consider getting the larger one.

    I could probably make one pretty easily if I get one and end up wanting a bigger one later on. I don't see myself lifting above 3.5" anytime soon though. That would probably be the max I would go while the truck is my daily

    Those numbers don't really translate directly to how much lift you might have. I am now at ~3" over stock and just put on the 5.5" bracket. I have it set to one notch below the highest and seems perfect. YMMV.

    If I get one, I'll get the bigger one because it's only $21 and that would be silly to get the smaller one to onlyou save one dollar. I don't like to limit myself :) maybe now I can add something of reasonable price to my Xmas list!

    With my saggy rear springs mine is grabby too. When I first installed the new KYB Mono Max shocks the grabbiness went away but slowly returned.

    I had the ome bpv bracket when I installed my lift. Didn't think it did much and my front pads were wearing quickly. So I got the Bamf 5.5" bracket to get a little higher. Still didn't notice much of a difference. May have to go up one notch. Dakars, AAL, and 2" shackles...maybe I should max out the bracket.

    It's $3 more :p and I'm only lifted ~2in over stock so it's plenty. If lift it much more I'll just zip tie the thing in place under the bed

    Truck parts
    Tacoma is going in to the body shop finally. Getting all new fender and grill and a new passenger headlight. Inspections also found that the radiator supports was cracked so that whole thing is getting replaced. I asked them to paint the supports black so theres one less thing I have to paint. Before the new bumper goes on!

    Nice truck! My dad has an '07 Doublecab. So far only thing it needed besides maintenance was a front shock had blown at 50,000 miles.
