Lol. I've got an old Sears arc unit, but I'd never get rid of it in a million years. Sucker is great for when I don't feel like spending all day cleaning up a piece of steel just so I can lay a bead down. Definitely not as easy or as clean as my Hobart 140, but it's got a lot more punch. If you can find one of the old Tombstones, grab it. Everything I hear about them is that they're good units that last forever.

Manchester has a public range . It's around $15 a hour and is jam packed every weekend . Weekdays are a lot better. You just need to be 21 and have a drivers license.
I stopped going there because we built a range in my buddy's back yard .

The range near me is $150 per year. Not bad, access to a lot of stuff, but all you can shoot there is pistols and shotguns. Big sand pit that is opened to the public on Saturdays is the only place you can let loose... helps conserve ammo I guess... The only place I've seen an accidental discharge of a firearm is at the actual rod and gun club. If I really want to I just go to a remote beach and shoot those pesky waves...

 

Careful shooting at water, Cam. Bullets can skip, just like rocks, except a lot further. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility of a bullet skipping and hitting a boat or someone on the boat over a mile away.

Froze my ass off last night swapping my wife's winter wheels over. Forgot to do it last weekend and needed to get them on before snow.

Guy in my office brews Flavored coffee via the K cup machine every morning and makes the place smell great.
