15 vs 16 vs 17inch tires?

    Some of you may know that im going after that Baja style.
    Im leaning towards 16x8 rims but before i decide to buy one (Method NV wheels) could people quickly describe me the benefits and negatives for going 15 or 16 in rims?

    Does same rule apply as street cars? (smaller the better for handling, acceleration, etc)

    Thats true. i didnt think about the price factor of it.

    but you are talking smaller diameter tire correct? i dont see how smaller rim would make difference in fuel economy if i get bigger tire height to match 16 inch rim/tire setup.
