I have a super sport Snugtop busted back glass, dealer wanted wayyyy to much for a brand new one so I am going another route (hopefully). BUT I do not have the call numbers off of the back glass. If someone could possibly have a Snug same model as mine I would greatly appreciate it! The call numbers are generally located on the inside bottom area, piece of black metal with some numbers stenciled on it. For reference if needed 2002 Tacoma TRD double cab. Thanks, also great site I am a long time lurker.:)

I have a PDF doc from Snug Top as I was in the same boat awhile back. I ended up just buying it from snug top though. Here's the parts list...

Ya they pretty much have you by the balls. I'm pretty sure mine wasn't that much but it was over $400. I'll never be able to sell my cap for anything close to what I have in it now but I'm ok with that because it's what, and the way, I want it (Unless I come across an XTR). If you're ok with rolling around with a piece of plexi, or plywood as your rear window...that's cool. After all, it's your truck.

Called Tri-County and they won't ship the rear window. Time to unload this topper and move on.

From Illinois to Florida that would be a long ship. The person I spoke with was polite and tried to steer me to another dealer but, I have already spoke that dealer they quoted me the 700$ window. So

    Reserected from the dead.
Why not use plexiglass? Does it have to be tempered glass.

Way cheaper and you can cut it with a jig saw and drill holes with a cordless drill.

The only disadvantage would be that it scratches easier.

When I broke the glass on my top I just bought a piece of acrylic and replaced it myself. Just remove the door and drill out the rivets that hold the bottom rail on. Cut the acrylic about 1/4" bigger than is needed all around and after cleaning out the track and applying a bead of silicone slide the acrylic into the top section then put the bottom rail on, more silicone, and put in new rivets. The acrylic cost about 50 bucs and there is enough left over to repair a couple more windows.
