    The 3.2% thing is a non-issue. It is a different weight measurement. Plus that is only for beer you buy at a grocery/convenience store. Get it at a liquor store or restaurant if you want a higher alcohol content. And why worry about "smuggling"? You can bring your drinks with you.
    The only thing to watch is if you are trying to turn the campground into a frat house and bring kegs - they are against the law.

    As for open carry and no rounds in the chamber, that is partially true. Best way to think of it is two actions. If you have a DA/SA handgun with a safety/de-cocker, you can have a round in the pipe with the safety on and/or de-cocked.
    If you have an SAO, no safety then it can't be chambered.
    However, no revolvers can be chambered.

    it is for mtn bikers, but he mentions the locations where you need to bypass in a vehicle...

    good info for sure...if you'll be coming with our group, not needed to pick it up as i'll have it on hand unless you want to do some reading before hand...

    I might just grab a copy either way. Plan is to hop in your group depending on the size of the group. I am guessing 4 from VA and the group from PA with Craig and whomever else hops on. I would figure more than 8-10 trucks might be a handful or it might be one epic convoy across CO with some good stories.

    But if you have a VA concealment permit, you are fine to carry in ready condition, open or concealed. Utah honors VA permits. :thumbsup:

    If you are looking for trail information and a good reference guide, check out Charles Wells and his Guide to Moab(I think he has a 2nd edition out now). He has written several trail guides for Colorado and kalifornication and is very knowledgeable.
    They are well worth the money and come in quite handy.

    I personally don't have an issue with a BFE frat house weekend but hey im that guy.

    the Japanese booze sounds kick ass. I am serious about the keg thing though I was going to do it last year. My friends and I mostly just drink bud light but I will drink just about anything so I asked for inpute from all of TW and all I got was a bunch of that's not beer so it never happened. My girl friend said to me "So youre being the shop but not the keg? That doesn't sound like your idea" Not that it's an issue it always works out people bring what they want and enough to share.
