I have a question about your long travel set up. You seem to mainly use it for expedition and general off-roading. Not much baja style type stuff.

Do you have the maintenance issues and drivability issues and squeaks and groans that I keep reading about on the LT section?

Also about the Bullydog Tuner. It says it's for supercharged Tacomas. Does it work with a regular V6 and have you had real noticeable improvement with it?

    Check the build thread.
I typically clean/lube the uni-balls and check the grease with the zurt fittings every oil change. If I go into really dirty areas I will try to do the same thing within a few days after the trip.

I did build this truck to be a trail rig with exploring being the main focus. I have no desire to drive fast in whoop sections (at least not with this truck).

No squeak or groans and I drive this truck all over the west coast and the drivability is what continues to sell me on the 2 over long travel kits. Just even to have a great time offroad and completely functional as a comfortable daily driver.

BullyDog is making these for non supercharged Tacomas now — I brought my truck into them for a week for R&D. After I got the truck back the next day my wheel came off while driving — lug nut issues. It's still in the shop after a month of waiting on 1 part that just came in on Friday. So I don't have much to tell you on what I notice differently yet. I will do a review though after a month of testing.

Nice. Thanks for the quick response. Sorry to hear about the damage. I torque my wheels to 95 or 100. I don't agree with toyotas 85 lb torque spec especially with lifted rigs and bigger tires.

Seriously so stoked for this! All that money I spent this year paid off lol
Thank you so much for making this happen! You all freaking rock!

I'll try to get some good photos of the interior this weekend.

I did get the Degreez heated and cooled option for both front seats from Katzkin. 3 levels of both. I run it on the cooled setting all the time and its like sitting on an ice pack when its on high lol

Katzkin heated and cooled seats? Wow! Those are $$$$, but at least from what I hear those come with a free sample of Vagisil.

    Update on the interior:

Katzkin Tuscany Leather with Perforated Suede
Degreez heated and cooled seat options to make those hot summers and cold winters a little more pleasant.

    Thanks guys!

Kyle, This whole setup/options are over $3k. The heat/cool option for both front seats retails for $2k but most dealers will cut some deals on the whole package plus instal.

Some dealers give deeper discounts than others and price changes a lot with options like what type of leather if it's perforated etc etc...

So was it $3k for what you have installed or was it $5k?

Leather seats with heaters are attractive-once you've had them, you don't laugh so much about them anymore. Not sure about the cooling feature.
