Had to do a PT one time hungover, still knocked it out with 81 pushups in a minute, 63 situps in a minute, and a mile and half run in 12:32. I only did that cause the night before at Margaritaville down on the strip they were making the worlds biggest margarita that contained, I can't remember how many thousands of gallons of tequila. The cup was 3 stories tall! I had to be a part of history! :D

Daaaamn. I love tequila, but it doesn't love me

Haha thanks. It's not too hard...just a lot of reading and learning to interpret things to make others look stupid

I've sparred a couple times with a buzz. The first round sucks but then you kind of forget you've been drinking and get loose.

So...being single and lifting definitely has it's advantages. I never got complimented on my GAAAAINZZZZ by the Ex. I was told tonight "Damn...everything on you is hard as a rock."

Of course, she didn't realize what she said until I said "You have noooo idea..."

    Hahahahaha.

Stupid question..why would one wear a lifting belt?

My wife is up in arms over me not having one and thinks I'm going to kill myself without it. Ugh..

Belt IMO is only good if you already have perfected your form, but mainly a belt is used to put a brace around your abdominal so you can breath in air and expand your belly against the belt to make your core and back extra stable.

If you aren't lifting over #300 it's not worth it... and if you weigh #300 I'd suggest waiting until lifts are over #400 at least... I only use a belt once I basically hit 75% of my 1RM.. but, I'm small so

it increases core pressure by basically turning your core into a compressed cylinder, keeping everything in line for the heavy lifts

I've stopped using my belt for anything under 275#

but I use one because with my luck and shitty body mechanics, my ride to snap city is inevitable, but hopefully not for awhle

Noticed the same thing, I think you just send "different" signals (looks, smiles) when you're single during that time.

I rarely wear it but do own and use it from time to time, what gets me if people come in to the gym and already wear them to train like "everything" lol, those are the ones that wear lifting straps for bench press too...
