For those of you that are curious and helped me on this, I believe I found (and fixed) my problem.

Decided I would look over the rear brakes. It didn't take me long to notice that one of the parking brake bellcrank arms was pulled out with the e-brake off  Can't believe I didn't notice this earlier

So here's what a believe happened. My e-brake cable was tightened down quite a bit after I bought the truck to compensate for old shoes. When I replaced the shoes, I failed to readjust it correctly. The length of the cable between the two drums was too short, causing one of the arms to be pulled out in the neutral position (probably the second of the drums I assembled). So this drum was essentialy setup with the e-brake on, meaning I probably had to loosen up the adjuster to reassemble it. This in turn also caused the automatic adjuster to not adjust, and the e-brake on that side not to work correctly, as most of the throw of my e-brake pulled on the opposite side.

Anyways, I loosed the cable, correctly set the neutral position of the bellcranks, correctly adjusted the clicker adjusters, and then re-tightened the cable accordingly. Brakes feel much better, and this also explains why I always though my e-brake didn't work correctly.

It was a stupid error on my part, but should be all back together correctly now. I've got a new set of the same EBC pads on the way, so now I can compare how long they last. Thanks for the input from those who suggested I should investigate my rear brakes

The RS3200 can be used as an alarm, just have to unplug a plug.

Currently, I have a Autopage something-something from 2003. Valet switch doesn't work and so I can't program it. Tired of it locking the doors on me.

I wish I had known that the RS3200 could be used as an alarm back when I bought the truck. Would've saved myself some money.

The Toyota RS3200 Keyless or RS3200 VIP+ "Alarm" will plug right into your truck.

The only difference between the VIP+ "Alarm" is that it has an LED/Microphone piece that clips into an empty spot down near the 12V accessory power ports and costs several hundred more from Toyota. (Perceived value)

I started by feeding this single cab some vitamins and a rigorous training schedule. After a few tractor pull championships, a log of Skoal, a cup of spit and some Bro shorts (I sported jellies for footwear), my Toy was ready for the big time.

The stretchy insert was easy after the tractor pulls. I think from like step 1, which is real scientific so you probably wouldn't understand...to step, like #1,800.067 took me about 3 hours. I used a Spiccoli tool set up and cinema compression to get the timeline down on the project. Transformation into an almost instant TRD Double cab and 4x4, dude.

I am headed over to pick up my bud Napoleon and launch this thing off his sweet jump. Next step is to cruise the mall lot for some Betties. Proper. I am thinking of adding a 6" lift to the front end only or one large heina in the back. Then some hydraulics and a Los lobos soundtrack. :rasta:

I might have left out a few steps, but you can figure it from my before and after pics.
