When's the snow coming ? Haven't had a chance to watch the news all week lol

 

They've threatened snow a few times this week. We potentially were going to get some last night or possibly dip below freezing so the roads would be all ice. Either one of those situations, I wanted her to have her winter tires. Of course, neither one happened... It is supposed to keep getting colder as the week goes on and snow this weekend so my opportunities weren't going to get any better.

 

It's snowing here, but it's pretty much melting instead of accumulating.

Fuck that. Just got out of the shower. Then I'm going to my doctor's appointment, then spending the afternoon working on computer applications homework.

Same. It's 34* here and the snow just picked up.

I'm further North than you guys by a fair amount, and all I've gotten out of the last couple of days has been either ice or rain. If it'd been snow we'd have had well over 2 feet.

 

So my .308 win rounds I just got have black tip on them. Anyone seen that?

 

My buddy has an '06 and he got some military surplus rounds a few years back that were armor piercing, and they had a black tip on them. We spent a fun afternoon finding out just what a 60 year old armor piercing round would shoot through.
Not sure if yours are armor piercing or not, but those are the only black-tips that come to mind.

 

Yeah the interwebz says black tips are armor piercing... I wanna shoot stuff now haha

I picked up a new phone finally. I got the Note and so far I like it. It is bigger than the S5 I was looking at but not by much.

 

Morning, faces. You're all up dark and early today. Usually the first activity I see on here isn't until around 7:30 or so.

Minimal expansion, though, so make sure you segregate them from your hunting ammo. They'd be a through-and-through and leave you tracking for hours.

I've got a note 3 and really like it. It is a little ridiculous how big it is, but you get used to it.
