Well yeah, of course they're better than the old halogens, but better light is available.

And cheers to you too, by the way.

just wanted to update everyone on the Warranty from Lifetime LED. The reason for some of the changes are due to people cheating them with the old no questions asked policy. Main changes on the Warranty are, you need to return the light first. Too many people were requesting replacements and never returning the " Defective " lights. so here it is:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our warranty is what sets us apart from the rest. We believe that you should not have to worry about your purchase. All our products have a Lifetime Warranty.

All lights are covered from defects, including a bad LED emitter or moisture in the light, for as long as you own it. Be sure to keep your receipt or proof of purchase for any warranty claims.

We will repair or replace your product for no charge for as long as you own it.
All you have to do is ship it back to us, we will pay the shipping to you on all warranty claims.

The following problems are covered under our extensive warranty, moisture in the light, LED failure, driver failure, and any other defect that shows up during use.

What is NOT covered, broke end caps due to improper mounting, cracked or broken lenses, improper voltage used, improper wiring, and damage due to crashes, fire or rollovers.
The Lifetime Warranty is NOT transferable.

Please use the contact us form on our website for all return authorizations.

    Our return address is:

    Off Road Industries
    224 South Main St
    Rear
    Canandaigua, NY 14424

If you bought the lights from us Contact me with your order number and I will get you the Lifetime Order Number so you can write it on the invoice when shipped back

I have a set of Lifetime LED Headlights, 9006 for a Honda accord. They have started flickering and died. When contacted about warranty LifetimeLED gave an RMA number but want me to ship them back before they ship out a new set, leaving my girlfriend without headlights for the length of shipping both ways.

Dissapointed with this new Warranty policy.

If you have your old ones, you could still use them if they're just PNP (I have another brand but are PNP). I have my stock ones as a spare in my truck. Just a thought.

Everybody should have a spare bulb or two in their truck at all times.

I understand what your saying. I agree you should have a spare set in your vehicle also. That said my drivers light went out the other day and shipping them back and waiting for a turn around time is useless to me.

I started this thread and when they work they are nice . But mine only lasted 10 months before going out and that is pretty unacceptable IMO. The hassle of removing them and replacing them is not worth it. I'll just stick with my zXe bulbs as they are close.

It was worth a try and I did like how they looked but the longevity isnt there.

I don't expect this company to be around much longer. At the rate that bulbs are burning out, they won't be able to keep replacing them for free.

I only say that because that's what I'm doing with my old ones. Usually I don't carry any, but I have to wait and see how the ones I bought (from another vendor) hold up. I may be in the same boat with you later, but I'm hoping I'm not. ;)

I guess some of us have to be Guinea Pigs :)

Yup. I don't mind being the guinea pig and I loved the lights (when they worked). They looked great and had good output on my truck. But for $150 I expect them to last longer than 8 months. The other issue is you have to undo the battery from its mount and also undo the washer to get them in or out. Not something I want to do every 8 months or so when I can just plug a set of zXe bulbs in and get similar results with very little effort. So far these bulbs have lasted a lot longer as I ran them in my 11 the entire time I had it.

I'm not trying to knock the LED bulbs.... They just aren't there yet with the reliability IMO.

Wow 10 months only huh? I'm on my 8th month, no issues (knock on wood). Glad I still have my zXe bulbs on standby too

I had a 30 minute drive home from skiing last night. Temperature was 27°F. I have the 70W version.

These lights were not able to melt ice from the housings.

The 2016 Taco better have an HID option. I'm tired of dealing with these half ass solutions to crappy factory lights.

My 8 year old Audi with very tired factory HID's blows my Taco lights out of the water. My Taco is equipped with 70W Lifetime LED's and a set of LED's mounted in the grill, and it still doesn't compare.

I'm seriously considering retroing mine next year (after I order your bed rail caps). I didn't have the output issues you have but the longevity isn't there IMO. If I constantly have to worry about a product then that isnt the prouduct for me. If they were a easy install then yes. But they are anything but easy. If I have to stand in a dark parking lot for 30 mins just to change a bulb then I'm out. The zXe bulbs are fine with me and have similar output.

It was worth a shot and I'm glad I did it. The technology and reliability just isn't there yet.

I have had mine since this summer. I had a headlight flicker and then go out on Thursday night. They sent we a new set (2) 2nd day air and the return shipping label. Easy folks to deal with.
