    do it just find another spare lol and ill probably end up staying home working on my daddys chevy hes got a 93 chevy single cab short bed 5 speed manual only down fall is that its got V6 4.3.

    doing motor mounts,tranny mount bushing,new uppers and lowers, spings, shocks, lowering rear to stock, water pump, belt, pcv ,tbi rebuild, etc long list lol

    best part about chevys everything is very cheap this only cost me about 900 bucks.

    yea that is why when you buy a old car might as well change it with chevy parts.

    no I wish that's very rare model to find in a short bed. main reason I like this truck. whats nice ABOUT chevy is they made so many of them that easy to find parts but they did make some models with certain packages which makes them harder to find parts.


    theres a few company that make sas and I can do it for about 2-5 grand. mounting kits+leave 1200 bucks axle I can find easy using dana 44 off an old blazer,k30,surbuban for 300-700 transfercase find one for 300-600

    if my dad give me that truck ill end up doing it eventually when I get money

    73 I believe till 80s they kept it solid axle and mid 90s I belive they started ifs.

    80s till early 90s they kept the same body style and interior and suspension is pretty interchangeable

    that's nice thing about chevys

    Everything went to IFS in 88 except the K5, Suburbans and the Crewcab 1 tons which remained solid axle until 91.

    Compared to our trucks yeah but it's not bad. All I know it when this motor goes poop there is a shit ton of after market high performance from bottom to top end. But it's little more expensive to build than the v8
