    Id stay away because of the salvage title. Since he said the frame is straight it was probably stolen (nbd) or flooded. If it was flooded run the other way.

    possibly.. but I have a feeling it would be a PITA. either tape the backside (electrical tape) and leave the numbers, indications, etc uncovered.. or paint.. but would still have to do the latter.

    I did use electrical tape to cover/black out one of the indication lights... and it worked perfectly. so it does work...

    I'm not bringing paint for needles, and your 1st gen has twist in bulbs, no soldering needed.
