    Let's see,
3 hours plus to Chinamen (for me),
Or, 6 hours to Moab. I can leave now, I'm done for the day.
That really is a tough call to make.

No way I could actually pull off Moab right before Final's week. That's why I'm going next weekend. :D Taking the KTM though. So:

    Chinaman's Gultch

    Saturday 12/13/14

Meet at the trailhead at 10:00 (or we can figure out a place to meet to caravan up there)

    1) Squeaky Penguin
    2) FLboarder

Both times I've run this trail it took 7 hours. Prepare for a long day. You'll want sliders, and skids would be good too.

I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new from old stock 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
What route & speed are you going to make either of these destinations in those times?? Are you cheating by loading into a Chinook & completely bypassing the mountains by air?

I going to know this trail really well if I keep running it everything Spring and Fall. I guess it was the start of May when we did it last, and November of last year, so I guess I'm not quite running it 3 times in the span of a year.

It looks to be about 2.5 hours for me to Johnson's Village, which is a mile from the trailhead. So 3 plus sounds about right.

Ok, skids are on. I'm in. Back to the trail that showed me the need for a HC rear!
You get to clean all the surface rust off of the skids sometime before spring so I can paint them Brett.

Oh, and you did kind of a sub par job on the pictures when we did spring creek. Can I trust that you'll put a little more effort into it this time?

    Oh yeah.... :D

I thought moab showed you the need for a HC bumper? Some how my stock bumper still looks good. Still looking for a reason to get a new fancy HC one.
