Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Restored my headlights and finally pulled the rusty hitch out of the receiver. Did this all last night when it was dark so I had to wait until today to take pics. You can see the large rust flakes leftover in the receiver after I pulled it out. Had it soaked in PB blaster for 2 weeks and then took a 20lb maul to it to break the rust loose, then tied it around a tree and yanked it out, took 4 tugs to get it to come out too. It was really seized in there.

As my truck gets older, I keep coming around to what am I going to do when it finally dies. I honestly keep coming up with the idea of just quitting driving.

So my new tires rub the plastic that's housing the washer fluid tank but not then pinch weld on the passenger side. And it rubs the pinch weld on the driver side. Any recommendations on what to do about the plastic behind the tank? Looks like a could hoses are in it so I can't cut it like I would the pinch weld.

an alignment with particular attention to the caster may help.

Also, a bunch of guys relocate the washer fluid reservoir. There's some threads around here with details.

Hmm. I figured alignment would help. I can't get that done for a while. So in the meantime I ground down the pinch weld as much as I could without taking my tires or fender liner off. Looks like it will do the trick around town but I'll need more off road. And it'll still rub on the washer fluid tank till I deal with that.

Some guys are making a new reservoir out of 2" pvc and run it down the side and across the bottom of the radiator. Pretty trick design. I went the simple route and used an aftermarket radiator overflow. I'm sure a trip to a junkyard might find an interesting reservoir as well if you have time to look around.

Every time I see those fender wells, I am so glad I own a 1st gen. Had a choice between the two and went with the best option.
