I don't know who gets the bigger facepalm, the guy posting 2nd gen pictures in the 1st Gen thread or everyone that keeps copying and pasting the 2nd Gen pics.

Just the pump is there. Mine never ate into the pump. There is actually some space there but they did eat at it.

    Or..do this

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1s...ild-lt-expo-trail-rig-bs-407.html#post8802626

Or yes just go fine a random tank and move it too. I thought about that but my second battery is where a lot of people put it.

It's nice to have one that works period though..I went without one for over a year and a half..somehow..

So I took an ocassional look underneath the truck and found a leak. I think I've found the source but I can't tell what it is or where the hose goes to. Also my coolant reservoir is low now. Maybe they are connected? (literally)

    Any ideas?

So that's not the source? The leak seems to be from above the steering rack and is leaking down. When I look down from inside the hood I can't find the source. Any ideas where it could be coming from?

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
One of the hoses is missing the breather valve so that could be the source. Without the valve, it could be "spitting" a little. Hose does look clean though.

Second question is what exactly has leaked? Is it coolant, oil or some greasy in between fluid?

Aye, those be breather hoses. Nothing to do with your coolant.

One thing, you are missing a breather valve from the one hose in front.

It helps keep debris out but as the hose ID is small, not a huge issue.

And, could be the source of your "leak". Is it gear oil or brake fluid or other?

lmao, nah its not from the AC. Power steering fluid fluid seems Just under normal level. Don't think its water, because its been wet all day. Dipstick shows motor oil is still within range. There seems to be a collection at the beginning of the breather tube which you can see in the first picture. I can't tell if smells like diff fluid or oil. It smells like diff fluid Just a tiny bit, which is weird because diff fluid has a super pungent smell.

More pictures. Hard to get a phone in there. Hopefully the angles are recognizable to you guys

As for the valve. Are you talking about just the metal cap at the end of the tube? Is that actually like a check valve or a cap?

And little metal cap over the whole thing yup

    Ignore this I'm an idiot

    I wonder.....
So I had a mystery leak awhile back, it was antifreeze and was showing under the truck in about the location you are seeing.
    It was this thing.

Open your hood before you start the truck. After a cold start you should be able to see fluid dripping from that valve, if it's leaking.
