Done with coffee. Non after 3 am. Really screws with my ability to stay asleep. Drink all I want up til that time.

Hope to get out of here and finish up one of my trailers and have that ready to deck on tuesday. My goal is do the last 15 minues of work on the thing, then clean up my shop. I'm a 1 man show, but I still find a way to clutter the hell out of the thing. In bed by 8am.

I took a bunch of pics yeaterday morning, so I could motivate myself to clean the thing up.

Here is one, more if others want to see.

I don't build in my garage like you, but I still manage to clutter it pretty bad. Need to get around to going thru everything on my bench and on top of my toolboxes one of these days. I could probably get rid of a lot of stuff I've been hanging onto just because I might need it some day. Of course, the flip side is I'll need it the day after I throw it away.

On average, how many trailers do you build in a year? Just curious.

I've slowed down quite a bit. I'm pretty comfortable doing about a dozen/year. I'll throw in some repairs on existing trailers to keep things interesting. The trailer on the hoist is a repair job (not one of my tailers).

 Nice hoist. From that pic, it looks like you've got a nice big garage. :jellydance:

Noticed the cased flag up on the wall, yours?

Everyone asks about the flag. Long story. You asked, I gotta tell it.

That flag was given to me by my dead Grandmother. It would have been around 1990 that she gave the flag to me. That is one of the flags that is flown over the US capital. She wrote our congressment, who at that time, was Carl Levin. His office had the flag flown for me. I have a certificate stating it was flown for me and its authenticity. I don't know for sure if they still do it, but it was a pretty big deal to me then and still is.

When my Grandmother passed away in 2003, she left the 9 grandchildren $4000 each. I kept the money and that flag. The rest of the grand kids pissed their money away, I just could not bring myself to spend my portion.

In 2009 I built my shop. I could not think of anything else that would remind me of my Grandmother more than a shop that I use daily. I used that $4000 to help build the shop.

The flag gets top position in my neon sign shrine in memory of her.

There is room left to have my Tarpon mount if I get one this spring:)

I hope you are not sorry you asked.

Absolutely not sorry ... and, hope I'm not out of line here, but I think your grandmother would be (and is) pleased. :)

Not enough people, outside of the military, get the significance behind a flag displayed in a case like that. That flag is displayed the same as the flag I was presented at my retirement from active duty. Mine was "flown" hung unfurled in the cargo bay of a C17 on a mission in Afghanistan. It does my heart good to see yours in the pic ... and the story about your grandmother makes it even more meaningful. Thank you for sharing it. :oldglory:

Your welcome, I enjoyed writing that post.

I gotta ask, because I honestly don't know.

What is the reason for posting the emoticon "spy"? Is that just a quick way for a lurker to post that they have been reading and following?

    Please skool me.

Playing around with my new pgone this morning. I'm pretty impressed with the "Google camera" app Iinstalled. Simple and quick.

I was playing with the "fisheye" mode. This pic is 12, individual pictures stitched together to make 1. I was amazed at how well it seamed togehter all the shots.

Just when I think the phones have gone as far as they can, I learn about a new feature.

I do wish I knew how to enlarge the pics so they would show in the thread full size. For some reason, using the forum app allows pics to show full size.
