    The Nissan rails are more versatile as the accept the same accessories as the Unistrut brand. Might even be able to find a wrecked one and get them for cheap, for the budget minded consumer :D

    You could always ride with someone like I suggested earlier.

    Well I bought some used Avid ones that mount to the body like the factory steps do. I don't do a lot of off-roading so they will mainly be used for door ding protection and steps

    My "predator"steps bolt onto the body and are pretty solid. Sliders that bolt onto tue body should be alright for door dings and such.
