Guys I've been researching the manual fitment.

I haven't been able to meet up with someone local so I've been searching the nets.

Based on this pic it looks like the panel hits on the raised portion of the shifter boot.

I found this thread on removing the manual center console:
    http://www.xr-underground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2568

It looks like it's all one piece, but the interesting part is there seems to be two different cubbies in manuals.

This pic from the link above:
    IMG_0404_e4e5a47a5b82fb933cf94711945927b8d1c65141.jpg

    And this one:
One shows a seamless cubby while the other has a raised bottom portion.

From the looks of the first pic it looks like the panel hits the shift boot before it's allowed to sit, however there seems to be enough room if the boot is not present.

Could some one with a manual check this out for me? The only thing keeping me from running another is this issue. Thanks!

Can you make a install kit like that for a cb radio?

I could if I get enough people interested in the same model yes. The problem with CB's is they vary so much from each manufacture. If you're looking to have it mounted flush with the plate then the biggest issue is how deep the unit goes into the cubby.

    Which CB do you have?

Well, it's still a no go for the manuals

Can you try top first? Mine fits that way too if I try bottom first.

I did. Once I attempted to put the panel in and the center console trim back in it is just too small of an area for this panel

Damn, ok. Well I'll give you guys a chance to sell them before I run another GB.

Those that have manuals and got a panel PM me with your full name. I'll keep a list and design a panel for manuals and let you know when it's done.

Sorry they didn't fit and I appreciate you guys trying them out.
