    I found this particular recipe in a GF cookbook but I'm sure you could use whatever oatmeal-raisin recipe you have and just use dried cranberries in place of the raisins. i also add walnuts, cinnamon and orange zest to make them extra yummy

    and yet you've never been to a MT meet...you could have all the cookies you could eat if you ever came to a meet! :p

    Yup, it just sorta comes naturally to me :cool:

    weekends go too fast don't they? i just want to know how/why it always seems to be warm and sunny while i'm in the office and cold an crappy when i'm not! :mad:

    Weesa's good. Got my baking done today and now I'm feeling more Chirstmasy...something about the smell of fresh baked cookies and pine trees that does it for me. Now I'm just enjoying being lazy for a few more hours.

    How about you? You done any holiday baking yet?

    Can't complain about the weather this weekend, but for a couple of weeks a month ago, weather was like that. Although I didn't get out to enjoy it today... But I did get the kids' gift wrapped and boxed up and some shoes I've been meaning to send back :anonymous: boxed up and ready for UPS tomorrow.

    Only "baking" I did today involved oil and lye - made more soap. Baking will start tomorrow. I've with you - love the smell of a home with baking smells :drool:

    is fresh baked soap a good smell? :notsure: never tried it myself. i get a bar or two at the farmers market when i go though. and a friend got me coffee soap for the kitchen. it takes icky food smells out of your skin - like onions or fish. i love it.
    so what'd the kids get? :popcorn: i won't tell....

    Soap's not baked... just mixed and poured in a mold. All depends on what fragrance you use. I don't usually use any fragrance - can't stand most of them :eek: I want to try coffee soap, but I don't drink coffee, so no grounds. I've heard it's really good for stinky stuff.
