Hi everyone, I'm going to lift my tacoma 3 inches with the 5100 bilstein toytec lift and I want to put these wheels on a 265/70/17 tire, but I'm wondering if the bolt pattern and everything is right? Because I read the TRD off road is a 6x139.7 but these wheels are a 6x135.

    Here's a link:http://www.amazon.com/Fuel-Offset-106-40-Partnumber-D51717909857/dp/B007MFM32E/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1418596888&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=fuel+krank+wheels+20mm+17x9

    Thanks

The bolt pattern on the Tacoma is 6x5.5... converted to metric is 6x137.5 mm. So yes they will fit. I have Fuel wheels with the same dual drill pattern. Try are drilled for both 6x135 and 6x5.5

Technically yes, the rims will fit. I don't believe a 265/70/17 tire will mount on a 9" wide rim though. You'd need at least a 285/70/17. Being a 20mm offset I think they will sit too far in and rub the upper control arm.

Alright thanks. And they will but only because they're going on a 265/70/17 goodyear duratrac, most 265s I looked at wouldn't fit a 9 wide but the duratracs are one of two tires I found that will fit one.

Yeah you need to go negative offset, not positive... BTW I have 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT2 on 17x9 wheels.Manufacturers website says they are approved for a 9 inch wheel.

I definitely like the looks of those. And can you explain why I would need the negative offset and not the positive? Thanks.

The +20 offset would have a backspace of about 5.75". This will hit the UCAs. Factory wheels have about a 5.5 or 5.25 inch backspace depending if they are OFFROAD or SPORT. Personally I went with a 0 offset (5 inch backspace)...fine for 265s but if you ever want to go 285s than you need 4.5 backspace (or -12 offset)

    And it is 6x139.7 6 on 5.5 not 6x137.5

This is how far a 17x9 wheel with -1 offset and 265/70/17 sticks out. Perfect IMO...a -12 offset would stick out 1/2 inch further.

That makes sense. Good thing I asked. Thanks for letting me know. I've got an off road so I think the 0 offset would be fine.

That looks amazing. About to order mine right now. Just wanted an idea of how far the wheels and tires stick out. That looks perfect in my opinion. Great looking truck

@cmbondo which do you think would work best with -12 offset

Only 1 lug pattern will work. The Tacoma's is 6x5.5 inches, or 6x139 mm (inches converted to mm).

The question you should be asking is which will fit better? The -12 mm offset, or 1 mm offset.

The pic he posted above is essentially the same as a 1 mm offset. The wheels will stick out a half inch further with a -12 mm offset.
