Pretty sure I can guess which is which.

Perhaps a better question for Hawks fans is if they can name the other starting quarterback to wear #3 before Wilson.

Ya know - I think you totally nailed it. Each era in football is completely different. I made the statement about Walter being a class act because he pulled up on breaking the rushing record out of respect for Jim Brown.

Walter has made some of the most amazing runs I have ever seen. But so has Sanders and Tomlinson and many others, but Walter was the shit in my book. Not to take ANYTHING away from Emmett but the guy did pull a 20 year stint as a starter, of course he's going to hold all the records. What impresses me most is how the hell did he stay healthly and start for 20 F'n years? Now that's impressive. Endurance and longevity to the MAX. Mad respect.

Totally agree about Jerry Rice. IMHO he's the best ever, but could he have made his accomplishments without a Joe Montana behind the wheel? The world may never know. It was so sad to see him retire as a Raider in a blowout to Tampa in the SB.

Subject change - what a trip to see the 3rd string QB come out for Arizona tonight!

15 minutes after my accident when I was 21, I was talking to the officer and almost fell over when the pain gripped me in my neck. 4 months of PT and 3 neurology appts later. YICK!

Sure can't..although an old friend of mine in the early 2000's calling Steve Young the best there is/was/will be made me spit out my beer a few times.

On RB's..he didn't do it long enough but Terrell Davis was no slouch either. I won't put him with those you named though..maybe LT.

Especially for his position, we all know RB's don't generally last long.

It's going to be harder to break rushing records now, especially all-time ones, with so many committee approaches. AP would have been interesting but having missed a year of his prime we probably won't see it..if he comes back.

Plus right now as I see it the NFL is more pass-first in general and has legislated most of the "shutdown corner" stuff out. I will always in part hold Seyton Manning and Bill Polian responsible for this fuckery after they cried about the Pats kicking their asses in the 2004 playoffs.

Ill admit that was a bad call on the seahawks.. unless they find something during the break here that isn't obvious

No way was that roughing the passer!!!
Something has to be changed about that infraction, it is much to arbitrary.

I will agree that it shouldn't have been called, but say it wasn't. Most likely we would have gotten a field goal and be up 13-7, the 4th down turn over still would have happened and we would have the ball. unless something happens on their next drive.

I honestly don't care who wins this game, I am sick of these fictitious roughing the passer and hitting defenseless receiver calls. The receiver has pads on does he not?
A player who's hemut pops off yes he is defenseless!

It is ultimately up to a team to win. You can't blame the refs. Bad calls will be made.

Im not saying that, I agree with you. Im saying this so no one can say "if that call wasn't made then san fran would have had a chance to not end their season"
