GTA V Xbox 360 Crew

Yea eh, I was fortunate to land a job in my field. But that's partly thanks to co-ops I've been doing here since high school.

Issue I have is that because I work such long days right now that I by the time I get online it's usually around 9:30 - 10 EST. I'm supposed to work 8hrs a day, but I'm working between 12 and 14 right now because our freaking sales staff sold machines we don't even have designed yet, so we're scrambling to get these brand new machines prototyped and to production. We get overtime at 40/week, and the money is good, it's just exhausting.

Yea... well, our machines have a good enough rep to be able to sell themselves. Our sales people piss us off because they sell shit we don't have all the time and then expect us to accomidate. But that's how we carved the market, we would custom build machines depending on what sales told customers we had. Unfortunately the company is getting a little big now to maintain that built to order rep outside of our normal build sheet options. Sales people have no idea of the design process it takes to do some changes, nor the paperwork that follows to document everything, but that's why most of them have useless degrees and sales is the only option they had to make money... I've started to dislike sales people, even if they're working for us.

 

Same here, I'm doing an internship right now and will be hired full time when I graduate. Hours are pretty sweet, as long as we put in 8 hours. 730-4pm for me

 

Yea eh, internships are the way to go (if you get paid, we have a major issue of the unpaid internship here in Canada, don't know if that's an issue in the states or not) but they usually lead to employment if you're with a good company.

I'm supposed to do 8-4:30, but it usually works out to 6:15-sometime in the evening. But as I stated before, it's paying for a house, which we're putting an offer in on sometime in the next couple of days, maybe even tonight depending on the results of my mortgage meeting at the bank tonight.

 

Also, with respect to tonight, how many people will be on the 360?

 

Yes, mine is paid. Haven't heard of any issues here in the U.S. on unpaid ones. Awesome on buying a house, I will be looking to buy one once I graduate. Being in the military has its benefits including house buying and no student loans.

 

I will not be on for a little over a week. Headed to my gf's for the weekend and then a cruise on a Monday.
