30 and younger thread

After my internship I have 6 months until I start my permanent position. I figure I need something to do and its pretty fun. I've never seen a bartender who hates their job. Also depending on where you work and how good you are, you can make pretty good money. On top of my regular job, if I could pull in an additional $20,000 per year (not too hard in a big city) I would be living very comfortably.

 

Its actually a pretty cool gig, and has crossed my mind multiple times

Cooking classes has crossed my mind as well. I would love to be able to make thai food

 

That would be pretty cool. Yeah I think it should be something pretty fun. Its a fun job that you can do part time and still make a decent amount. I figure if anything it will pay for my weekends so I dont have to take that money out of my main paycheck.

 

I'm just stoked that I just got a raise that puts me over $11 working for the uni

 

a friend of mine that used to bartend ended up working connections all the way up to bartending in vegas and holy shit they make a lot of money. lol

+ that 10 with the circle around it is supposed to be the highest rating for SD cards. Thats a good buy

 

The HC10 rating is a joke nowadays. Wasn't enough to handle 1080p/120fps. The only thing that matters is the write speed. My current one I've got is a Samsung 64gb rated at 90 mb/s.

That's a good deal considering I paid $50 for mine.

 

Seems decent. I have always liked the Samsung cards I have bought over the years. I am going to see if I can pick one up tomorrow.

I am surprised Walmart has not come out with more of their house brand generic/knockoff stuff, especially with things like memory cards. A good amount of the great value stuff I have had has been surprisingly pretty good actually.

just kinda worried about the temperature

avg temp up there is like 20 degrees and drops to bumfucking cold, min operating temperature for my little t3i is 32 degrees

might have to keep it in the pack and just pull it out for quick shots


but you guys shoot in the snow all the time so im probably just a hawaii noobsticle

Yeah ill probably pick up a used camera. Till its time I'm going to do my research and check some pricing in the used area.

I have always told people looking to get into biking to go used first so I'll follow my own advise.

The cannon rebel series looks like a good series to start with. Sony and nikkon both have cameras that caught my eye as well. But yeah summer 2015 will probably be the time I'll make a move on something.....unless I find a massively good deal on ebay.
