It is built like a brick shithouse, would just bounce into place.

Added the brake light plate. Hence the reason for the forklift. I can't put the forks under the deck anymore.70fbc043625f93a2472ae34a06630719_8fd7af60d7d04f2e4d260448cefd8efc72a2cfbb.jpg

Called a local company to get a quote on blasting and painting the bed for me. Yeah, that dog don't hunt. $600 to blast and paint the bed if I bring my own paint. I guess I'll be wire wheeling this thing. :D

People like the OP just blow my mind with the creativity and knowledge to do projects like this. I can do the same for home remodeling, but good god!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to the end as well.

Hey there stranger. Yeah, a heavier pair of gloves, or the sense to stop welding when my finger caught on fire would be a good idea.

You might look into some local places that make trailers or other stuff like that. I got a quote from a powdercoating place to get my bumpers and sliders and wheels done and they said about $1200. A local fabrication place blasted and powdercoated it for $500

I could use the help. What time is your final over with? I'm hoping to paint the bed Wednesday night.

Crossing my fingers! That may have been the last weld on the bed. Time to start cleaning it up.
