    HELP!

I have a 2009 Tacoma 4X2 that needs front wheel bearings. The configuration that I have on my truck does not seem to match any I have seen on this site. They don't look like the bolt-on assemblies I have seen here. The hole in the center of the hub is M8 & threaded. Any help greatly appreciated!

    Here are some pix:

Here is a diagram of your setup. Looks like you can remove the spindle from the truck, remove the nut on the backside of the hub flange which will allow you press the flange out of the bearing cartridge. Once that is removed you can remove the snap ring and press the cartridge out of the spindle.

Man, I just changed the ball joints out last summer. Now I have to pop them all out of the steering knuckle again. Guess it would have been too easy for Toyota design to make them easy to remove like the 6 lug.

I have a 20 ton press. You think it's heavy enough to do the job? Anyone out there who has done this before?

I've you've done the ball joints then your halfway there.

That 20 ton press is more than enough power to do the job.

It's a easy job but if you not confident you can send me the spindle and I'll take care of the swap.
