Apparently certain SPC Light Racing UCAs require an update kit. Found this
Called today and SPC is sending me the kit, p/n 25478. A few of my bushings look pretty shitty. Not sure if the pitting is normal. Picture to follow.

Ninja 500 is an awesome bike. It does everything very well, has ample power, can be loaded up with bags (pretty much any bike), has been around forever, parts are relatively cheap, comfortable, easy to work on, etc, etc.

My friend rides his Ninja 500 all over the place. Same guy has a Harley Sportster 1200, Ducati Monster, and a Yamaha R6 track bike.

What you think would cause the pitting on the bushing like that? They've only been on 11 months.

My only thought is that the batch of rubber was bad. The new bushings are a different design in shape and material.

I derp my wheels. When the derp gets blown off on the trails I just put on a new coat. Easy peasy!

I'm having another balljoint begin to fail on me too. I'm thinking I might just buy a new set of control arms and start fresh.
