I had a friend in high school who had a F-150 with dual antennas. I really liked the aggressive symmetrical look. I found a pic of a Tacoma with dual antennas behind the cab but what I would like to find is someone who has either taken a stock antenna off a junked Taco and installed it on the drivers side or bought a pair of identical aftermarket antennas. Has anyone seen this?

Only time I've seen this is with CB antennas. Google "Tacoma Truck with dual antennas" and you will see some CB stuff.

This. I thought he meant CB antennas when OP said he found a pic of dual antennas mounted behind the cab.

OP, is this for function or looks?

I think it was CB antennas in the pics I have seen where they are behind the cab. It is just for looks. I just have not seen it on a Taco

If you hook up 2 antennas to your radio I'm pretty sure you get stereo.

Thanks for the link cyakker. The hood lip mounted ones in the link would be ok if they were set farther back. But I really would want the second one to be built in like the stock one and just be on the drivers side.
