Still ... probably the best episode so far. Less drama and more driving. Still had drama, just didn't feel like it was the focus this time around.

haha, I don't think there's anything 'Jeep' on the Super Heep, except maybe the windshield. It's more Chevy than Jeep. :D Chevy engine, Chevy running gear, Pontiac :)confused:) steering wheel/column, and some hacked up sheetmetal for a body with a homemade, booger-welded frame. :D It definitely ain't purty, but I guess it's gettin' 'er done. :p

Its a decent show so far. Being a former LR owner, I knew that thing was gonna take a dump at one point or another. Thats typical. I don't know who to route for. That jeep thing is a pile and the driver is a snob, the 4 runner guys look like they escaped prison, and the chick and her pu**y whipped boyfriend just irritate me. I guess I'll route for war wagon even though that dudes mullet weighs more than his brain.

I have never owned a Land Rover. Are they really that unreliable?

Haha, I'm pretty sure the 2 gen 'Runner team are brother and sister, at least I think that's what was said back in the first episode. There was definitely mention of there being two sets of sibling teams in the field.

But yeah, I think the FJ team is going to come out on top, although, I did notice it smoking a bit in the last episode. If it comes down to reliability, I think the 2nd Gen 'Runner has it, but they need to pick up the pace a bit if they want to stay in the running. The fact that the Land Rover had to stop and fix a dropped driveline and still maintained a lead on them time-wise is telling. For them to win, the other three vehicles will have to die completely.

I think the 1st Gen 'Runner will be the next casualty with it's overheating issue.

Ya the Jeep is more GM but in the beginning he said he had 2 transmissions? When the part of their brush guard broke I like his comment " Ya I probably welded it 5 years ago" what does that matter? Best thing going for the brothers is the dog those guys couldn't change a tire, what the hell mr we live life in the bush and can't rely on anyone but yourself

Just went through taco Bueno drive thru, girl asked what the black thing was sticking up by my windshield I told her a snorkel. She said oh so the water doesn't get in the engine I saw it and thought of super jeep. I asked her if she etched the show and said yes I'm rooting for them. Sucks my taco reminds people of a jeep but atleast others are watching the show not just us.

While I am glad more people are watching, I can't help but question the image of "off-roading" this show puts forth to the general public. There will be those that think this is the norm.

I'm sure the tree huggers are going to love that the LR blew and oil line and dumped a few quarts of oil all over the ground as well. :p

Yea the LR must have been a tree hugger the way he flipped out over the trees in the trail that they pushed out of the way.

Besides from that point that LRWAS subject to fail from all the problems he started having

That's exactly what I was thinking. He said in the first episode "Leave nothing behind". Yea, that oil is doing more damage than running over downed tree's.

haven't seen the latest episode where this occurs. i would think that they would attempt to clean it as best they can while out there.. as an example in the 4wd ultimate adventure when this occurs they clean as much as possible with whatever they have.. just shows well when the effort is made.

Yeah, that's doubtful since he didn't even notice it until the engine failed (in spite of having attempted to repair the line the night before--this is the value of an oil pressure gauge, folks...). It was pissing oil for probably miles of trail. They might have cleaned it up if it dumped it all in one spot, but that isn't what happened. Instead it was a shining example for environmentalists to point to when they come gunning for the Off-road community. :p

yea this episode was the best so far. but still way too much in-cab footage, when the rigs and terrain need more camera time

What? You don't like watching Butch bounce his head off the roof? I mean for real, why hasn't he figured out a seal belt is a "good idea" yet. :D

The best part of the show so far was last night when one of the brothers said:

"I haven't seen a line this extreme since the 80s."

    That made my night.
