    Ok Gents i need a little help. Does anyone know what could be causing a short for a 10A fuse that is Labeled Tail in the engine compartment fuse box. The fuse is for the lights on the RPM, MPH, AC and heater, RND21 on an auto shift. I put a new fuse in and 20-30 mins later it blows. any info would be appreciated. thanks Ray. By the way its for a 1st gen if you didn't already know.

    A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
    had something similar happen to me. i don't remember what fuse it was exactly but do your running lights for the tail lights go out as well? if so, mine ended up being a short in the aftermarket license plate light.

    if not, i would go and check all your grounds and look for frayed wires grounding out the circuit.

    I had the same problem about 3-4 years ago & fixed it with a 15A fuse. My solution may not be the best idea, but it has solved the problem without causing any collateral damage that I can tell.
