I am hoping to get my OME strut compressed prior to installation (ome kit did not come with new top plates so you have to dismount old ones first, a PITA).

    anyways,
does anyone know if the monroe or duralast top plates will work? The toyota brand are triple the cost.

    Toyota part # 48609-35010

If somebody has been through this, your advice is appreciated.

    Thanks

lol, 2 years, well that must be close to a record for putting things on hold for a while.

if I ever fool with the struts, they are fairly check buying them as a complete strut assembly and not have to be trying to mess with taking it apart or messing with springs and such.

course im not into lifted trucks or specialty shocks so I would be staying with basic stock replacement stuff anyway

Lol yep! I just haven't had the time to get it installed and I'm tired of it sitting on the garage floor!
