Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Winch all back together and I can roll it by hand now with very little effort. Packed it up good with some nice marine grease. Just waiting on the RTV to set and then the solenoid is going back on...maybe tonight if I feel gamey.

Also welded in the bolts for the gas tank skid and it turned out pretty damn good.

Make sure you use dielectric grease on the solenoid to prevent corrosion....

Most said none inside. Sealed well than a little dielectric on the plugs.

That is why I got all my shit from West Marine for my winch. All my connections corroded on the winch and lost conductivity...

Yeah inside the solenoid is supposed to be grease free. All connections are dielectric greased and she is all back together ready for install tomorrow. 60d43053b5d70df4743c6e399ab78459_3a16d01b158416f60f1bf3815ea22a959258887c.jpg

How did the lift pan out? Did you preload the driverside before install?

apparently micah preloaded both sides before he shipped them. ended up gaining about 1/2" of lift and the driver side was already cranked just a hair more than passenger so it is nice and even. made things much easier.

Yeah...D2s...yeah....no! They are 18w Sidetracked Offroads. I would never buy rigid lights unless they were used. Too fucking expensive!

I do too. I'm waiting to see if Tyler Pelfrey approves of the look.
