Yep. Bought factory non-abs lines and ripped all the old abs shit out.
Ran a single line to the rear with manual proportioning valve instead of that stupid LSPV.

On 2nd gens you will loose the speedo of you fully remove it. The signal comes from the sensors on the axle into that module which converts the signal and sends it to the speedo. What I did was cap all the lines on the module and then just ran new lines like the other guys did

planning on starting my long travel build, gonna be gathering parts over the next year. i notice some do and some dont run front bumps. is there a reason not to? im new to all this and have found most of the info i need but not alot on bumps. im guessing when you set them up you mount them to fully bottom and leave about 1" of travel left in the shock?

Some kits have a strike pad for bumps some don't, if you have an engine cage you can bump off the upper. Bypasses can also be used like a bump to slow everything down to prevent the shocks blowing out.

so just bought some 12" bypasses for the rear of my canti to get a few more inches of travel. went ahead and valved the new ones to what i had my 10s valved to. but i noticed an issue with one of the shocks. the shaft gets "stuck" (takes A LOT of force) every time it basses an opening to a bypass tube. theres also a little scoring on the piston wear band. anyone know what this could be? possibly bent shock body? everything looks fine

You'll end up linking it one day anyway.

Sway bar is nice but that can wait. I've had the same reaction from everyone with leafs who rides in my truck "well fuck now I need to link my truck"

Sway bars can wait usualy? Never ridden in a linked truck without one. That saves some cash then ha id probably wait till i upgrade the rear axle then to do that. Think my minds made up now lol
