    The main site link is to show the description, as the link to Summit Racing doesn't show any description, minus the part #. Bigger spark, more thorough combustion, more power. It won't directly translate to a 15% increase in power though.

    Summit Racing's price is about $14 cheaper each.

    Actually, these and or other brands are used regularly in the performance realm by many different types of vehicles. Nothing new there, minus the fact that yesterday was the first time seeing them for our 1GR.

    Basically the same thing as upgrading a distributor setup to the higher output distributor from MSD Ignition.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Not really but its advertising is off. How big the spark is will come down to the plug as well and bigger isnt always better. Engines are designed to run at a certain temp and if the spark is too strong and plug is too hot, you can run too hot in the combustion chamber.

    However, in this case it should be a stronger more reliable spark that will resist being blown out by the boost as long as the plug is gapped correctly.

    Had an over rich issue recently. Anytime the engine would get between 10 inHg and atmosphere, the AFR's would peg the gauge at 10:1. If the gauge could read lower, it would likely be in the 8's or 9's. Huge loss of power. Adding boost would make it lean back out to around 10.6:1, but it was still noticeably lacking power.

    Started out by checking the spark plugs, and those were all fine. Minus the signs of being rich. Checked for vacuum leaks, and not a single one. Checked the compression, and those were all within 15%. Hmmm...
    Next afternoon, I started the truck for the first time that day. Walked over to the turbo, and noticed the sign of an exhaust leak. Soot at the flange. A second later, moisture was dripping out from under the gasket. Shouldn't be doing that, unless the hardware was loose. Sure enough, two nuts were missing, one was loose, and one bolt/nut was missing. Well f*ck me. That titanium hardware was expensive!

    Put new nuts on, and replaced the missing hardware. Test drive was much better. It was a smooth transition from boost to vacuum, but still super rich. Then it dawned on me.....
