If that's the case I am thrilled, I plan on having a kid in the next year or two and this would be hugely beneficial. At 6'2 a car seat is tight in the 2nd gen.

Only caught this flash but it happens in the video. I realize it's what we have already seen but maybe there are more in the short video that I am not fast enough to grab?

The little spot on teh inside of the bed at the rear looks like it could be one of the yellow stickers we have on our beds. And the cleats look the same as well. I'd bet it's the same composite bed. Why switch to a heavier metal one when you're trying to improve fuel economy.

As for the rear doors, I too thought they were bigger and their profile is more like the tundra's doors. Looks like the door handles are the same way (bigger, more tundra like).

Yeah I can't imagine the guy that designed that front end still has his job. The 5th gens pre refresh looked much better.

You gotta look real close. It's like the Tyler Durden subliminal flashes in the 1st part of Fight Club.

the new 4runner is growing in popularity and actually looks bad ass when done up as an off road rig.

It's called change, some people don't embrace it though.

I like the new 4Runner. I hated the 2012 Taco but now I love it, I think it looks better than the 05

Yeah but those little gills on the side are absolutely unnecessary. They're non-functional and they make it look like a pissed off bull dog.

neither are the hood scoops, but the vents on the sides of the front bumper are for style, it would look like a big round catfish mouth without them.

Id rather a pissed off bulldog look than a catfish.

Their point may be by showing us the front of the truck and the back.......

They are doing nothing really new in the middle and have nothing to offer any better then what we have now....
Other than to add a new tailgate and nose cap...
